Knox Small Business Website Design is one web designer dedicated to helping the small business owner gain a presence on the internet without investing thousands of up front dollars plus hundreds more for monthly maintenance fees.

Under normal conditions a small business owner has two choices if they want to have a website.
First they can hire a designer or website design company and pay extensive upfront fees.
Second choice for the small business owner is to learn to build one.

Did you know that businesses spend from thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars for their websites? And, on top of that they pay hundreds to thousands of dollars in monthly maintenance fees. They understand that this financial investment makes them money. If it didn't, they wouldn't be doing it.

So, where does that leave the small business owner? With an ever shrinking market share.

Being a small business owner myself, I understand this dilemma totally. This is why Knox Small Business Website Design was formed.

The concept is simple. I build the small business owner a website that fits their particular needs and then lease it back to them for a nominal monthly fee. No contracts, no lawyers. Just a hand shake.

So, what does it cost? A one page website will cost $34 to build and $34 dollars a month to lease. Any additional pages you may want on your website are an additional $5 for each page. I'm sure anyone can see that at these rates I am not doing this for the money. I actually am doing this to help out the small business owner that wants a web presence.

There is a cost that you must be aware of. You need a domain name ($20 a year) and you must have a Web Hosting Service (under $100 a year). I will help you set these accounts up but the annual fees they charge you will have to pay to them directly.

And what happens if you decided at some point in the future you don't want the website anymore? The Web Hosting Service and the domain name remain with you. They are your property. I own the website and will delete it. There are no cancellation fees. That's it. Nothing more.

Now to be fair, if you want an elaborate website full of graphics, pictures and thousands of links like the website I built for my business (championdaylilies.com) these rates would not apply. But, if you want a nice web presence like the one I just finished (veritassmc.com) we can work within that range. By the way, the veritassmc site would be classified as a 9 page website.
